On the 192nd birthday of Jefferson Parish, President Michael S. Yenni has released the 2016 “State of the Parish” The nearly 15 minute video highlights several accomplishments of the Yenni administration and the Council during the first year, including balancing a $613 million dollar budget, the renewal of the Drainage and Recreation Millages and 1% sales tax, and working with the Council and various entities to finalize the lease agreement with LCMC Health and West Jefferson Medical Center. The video also provides updates on all municipalities within the Parish.
