Family Gras is a family-friendly Carnival event that offers free outdoor concerts, including national and Louisiana artists alike. Held February 1st and 2nd on the neutral ground at Veterans Blvd. in front of Lakeside Mall, Family Gras enables Jefferson Parish restaurants, caterers, and businesses to feature their cuisine and desserts as well as local artists’ crafts and art pieces. With crowds estimated at 100,00 this year and an economic impact of over $6 million for Jefferson in the past year, corporate and small business owners are provided with a fantastic advertising opportunity by partnering with Family Gras. This year’s event boasted big name musical acts like Franki Valli, Fitz and the Tantrums, Amanda Shaw, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, and more.
