A ceremony was held honoring American Veterans at the Woodmere Community Center in Harvey on Saturday morning, November 12th, 2016. Among the speakers were Jedidiah Jackson, Director of Jefferson Community Action Programs, State Representative Rodney Lyons, and WWL Anchorwoman Sally-Ann Roberts.

Jefferson Parish hosted its annual Senior Citizen’s Dance Gala on August 19, 2016. Seniors from all over the parish danced the afternoon away as they celebrated the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s in their best homemade costumes.
