With this in mind, neighbors gathered together all over Jefferson Parish October 16th for the annual “Night out Against Crime,” designed to strengthen neighborhood support, increase crime prevention awareness, and stimulate anti-crime efforts.     Jefferson Parish announces the grand opening of Lafreniere Park’s new, cool and refreshing “Spray Park”. The Lafreniere “Spray Park” is located adjacent to the Carousel. It covers approximately 4,000 square feet of surface and will provide five fun, in-ground water spray features alternating with five above-ground water spray attractions and three water ‘cannons’. More than 135 gallons of water per minute will be keeping children 10 years of age and younger cool and wet during the hot summer!
